CITY VOTING, EXPLAINED
How to vote for your hometown
Find a participating city, choose Vote +1, and check the confirmation. Standard voting does not require a payment.
Find the right place
Browse the city directory or use the home leaderboard's city and country search. Check the country before voting, especially for names shared by different places. Each city profile links back to the voting interface with that city selected.
Submit a free vote
Select Vote +1 on the city's row. Wait for a success message before assuming the vote was recorded. If the site reports that you already voted, it has found a previous vote for that city under your current browser's voter identifier. A City Chief purchase is optional and separate.
Understand the browser check
The site uses a browser cookie to discourage repeat votes for the same city. It does not verify a person's legal identity or residence. You may support more than one city, but please do not reset cookies or switch devices to inflate one city's total. If a request fails, check the latest result before trying again.
